Absolute Game Changer

"Jen introduced the Ryde stirrups to me at Midwest Horse Fair, April 2026. They were a total game changer!! I have heard a lot of people who have used these to help with previous injuries or recovering from surgery… I haven’t had any of that. I’m just your typical long legged, adult amateur doing her best to ride her off the track thoroughbred. I am in a great program, take weekly lessons, and have been riding in the sport of eventing for years. I absolutely have flaws in my position, and have various compensation patterns, like everyone. But overall, I never thought stirrups could make that big of a difference. But when I tell you I have never felt so much buoyancy, accessibility, and effectiveness of my lower leg/ankle as when I do in these stirrups, I was mind blown. My first lesson with my trainer after purchasing the stirrups, she noticed immediate differences in my lower leg effectiveness, and ironically enough, also fixed my upper body twist I had when going to the left. I have now been riding in these consistently since April, and I will never go back. In fact, I’m already saving up for a second pair so I don’t have to switch them out in my dressage and jump saddles!! I am constantly raving to others about how game changing these are. Try them - your horse will thank you!"

Best stirrups on the market!

"It’s hard to describe all the benefits of these incredible irons. You can customize everything to your exact specifications and needs, AND YOU GET THE VERY BEST SAFETY TECHNOLOGY at the same time! I have no idea why more jumper riders are not using these stirrups. Money well spent."

1-year in and still LOVE my Ryde stirrups

"I have had my Ryde stirrups for a year now and still love them! In the past year I bought a new off-track Thoroughbred and I really love how secure my base feels as my new mare goes through her "struggles" (i. e. , sudden changes of speed and direction) while learning how to be a show horse. I also forget how comfortable and "just right for me" these are until I ride a friend's horse and have to use her standard Fillis irons. Those Fillis stirrups make the balls of my feet feel like I am standing on the narrow edge of a 2x4 and trying to balance. I never realized how uncomfortable Fillis stirrups were until I tried the Ryde stirrups. I had the Ryde stirrups fit to me at Equine Affaire in Ohio 2025 but I still found I needed to make a few more small adjustments once I got home and rode my horse (not just a saddle buck). I made those adjustments in the first month I owned them and haven't needed to make any changes since. I do take the stirrups off after every ride so they don't scratch my saddle and I keep them in their neoprene zipper cases so they stay clean and don't get scratched up. I love the piece of mind that the magnetic quick release provides and the stable base of support for my entire body. I definitely recommend the Ryde stirrups for anyone! You have to try them, adjust them and see for yourself!"

Can’t believe the difference - every ride!

"You have to try these stirrups to understand how much of a positive difference they make in your riding…from struggling to get my legs correct to feeling like it’s easy! And when your legs are correct it translates to the rest of your body! Immediately! Worth every penny! The magic answer to help any pro and especially adult amateurs!"

Ryde Adjustable Stirrups

"I purchased Ryde Stirrups from Savvy Horse Products after speaking with Jen Truett at length regarding lower leg instability, balance and alignment concerns, I decided to take a leap of faith and purchase the Ryde Stirrups for myself. I could not have anticipated the dramatic difference it has made to the stability of my lower leg and the noticeable improvement to my overall balance and confidence in the saddle. I consider the Ryde Stirrups to be equally important as a well-fitted saddle for both horse and rider. Many thanks to Jen Truett of Savvy Horse Products and to Ryde Stirrups for creating an ingenious product!"

Q&A

About the Ryde Adjustable Stirrup The Ryde Adjustable Stirrup is the world's first three-axis adjustable riding stirrup, engineered and patented by Ryde Equestrian of Sweden. Priced at $650 USD through Savvy Horse Products in the United States, it allows the rider to independently adjust three axes — lateral position, stirrup-leather attachment angle, and tread tilt — to align the stirrup with the rider's individual anatomy and discipline. The Ryde Adjustable also features a passive magnetic safety release, which disengages under fall-level force to prevent foot-trapping injuries. It is FEI-legal across all disciplines, tested to support riders up to 250 kg / 550 lb, and comes with a two-year manufacturer warranty. Savvy Horse Products is the authorised United States distributor and offers stirrup-fitting consultations with FEI-rider Jennifer Truett.
